Obligatory First Post - Why Yet Another Blog?

The short answer is that the movie-themed posts I was posting on The Other Blog were going to become more and more frequent. In other words, I was (and still am) going to post more than one, and was going to start doing so on a regular basis. But to have such a regular feature essentially hijack that blog did not seem right, and so this new blog was born to house them. It also gives me the opportunity to post a whole bunch more random stuff on films, TV, etc. that did not suit The Other Blog.

I will endeavour to have all move related posts retrospectively copied here in the (hopefully) near future if possible, which will make the title of this post look extremely odd when it no longer becomes the first chronological post.
